I know this is not a lot of help but maybe it will set you in the right direction.

You can try roof coat roofing paint it’s really thick and may very well do the job, find some youngster to apply it ,or contact your local church they sometimes have funds available to do such things.

I do not know where mccurtain is, but you need to humble yourself and call some churches. Tell them what you have told us and ask for help. I am a member of a big church, and they have a widow’s program. We feed them with the widow’s garden and a deacon is on call for each of the widow’s and widower’s as the bible says to do. I would love to help you with a phone call, because that’s all it would take here in Florida. Just do not have pride and take care of yourself. The Lord is your shephard and you shall not want. Your first step was writing on a computer, so now you can do this. Yellow pages under churches. God Bless.
