My roof has been leaking for years but the deductible has been too high. Just recently I found out that if my old roof is indeed an asbestos roof, there would not be a dedectible and the entire roof would be covered for replacement. So, the insurance adjuster is coming out – My question is, since I’m not supposedly getting a new roof because of the leaks but because of the asbestos, then my insurance wouldn’t cover my crumbling ceiling inside (from water leaks)…would it?
